Exelixis decided to make the move across the San Francisco Bay in the summer of 2018. The large pharmaceutical company now calls the Alameda waterfront its new home. The headquarters include two buildings, totaling 60,544 square feet.

Northwestern Design was able to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for employees. As a result, the staff is able to enjoy the comforts of home while at the office. The newly-designed interior features multiple break rooms, coffee stations and conference rooms in addition to offices, desks and work stations. Custom wood window boxes and feature walls highlight the space.
