The VA Radiology project in Palo Alto, Calif. features a 34,000-square-foot addition to the main hospital, which replaces the current facility, and a 15,000-square-foot renovation of the existing space. The facility upgrades will help make room for new radiology equipment for patient care in a centralized location. Northwestern Design’s wall paneling is a highlight of this project. Iconic Hitchcock Redwood wall paneling is used in the main waiting area inside the VA Center. In addition, cherry wall paneling is featured in the reception area, which is right across from the main waiting area. The VA project also included some casework.
