Exploratorium at Piers 15 and 17
Project Details
When officials decided to move the Exploratorium to the San Francisco Pier, Northwestern Design was chosen as the architectural millwork manufacturer. The Exploratorium is a wonderful place to visit, providing fun and educational opportunities for all. NWD’s work at the Exploratorium included the architectural millwork and casework in the Bruce Damonte Theater and Bar. In the educational lab, NWD installed workstations and cabinetry. The lab is used both for research and educational classes. Northwestern Design also manufactured many cabinets and cubby storage areas in both the ticketing and operational areas of the Exploratorium.
